Art Class

I will be offering a six week  art course this summer. Lessons will be on Tuesday mornings at 11 o'clock.

If you have never tried art making before, I will help you start. If you have existing art skills but you are a bit rusty, I will guide you to improve.  If you already make art I might help you become a braver artist. 

​

This class is perfect for beginner or nervous students.  I will endeavour to create a friendly and non judgmental space, where every student will work at their level.

​

In the course of these lessons we will use object drawing, drawing exercises and eventually still life drawing to practise some elements, principles and techniques of art making. These will include, line drawing, shading, shape and form, composition and positioning . I will teach you the difference between looking and seeing . 

​

A starter pack and all materials will be provided. Students are welcome to bring previous artworks and art materials along.

 

Duration:  Six weeks (none of these dates are on bank holidays)
